White label peptides, explained.

A practical guide for research brands: what white label means, what to plan before your first order, and how lot traceability carries through to your customers.

The Basics

What white label means.

White label peptides are finished vials manufactured by a supplier and sold under your brand. You own the brand, the customer relationship and the storefront. The supplier owns manufacturing, testing and the documentation behind each lot.

For a research peptide brand, white label is the fastest way to launch or extend a line without building a lab: you choose the SKUs, and product arrives finished and labeled for your brand.

Before You Launch

What to plan before your first order.

DecisionWhat to consider
Launch SKUsMost brands start with a short list of high-demand products and add to it once reorder patterns are clear. See the full catalog.
StrengthsPick the strengths your customers ask for. Many products are available in several strengths, so one SKU can cover a range.
Label contentProduct name, strength, lot number, storage conditions and a research-use-only statement are the essentials.
Volume and reordersOrder quantities are set per SKU, and larger runs take longer to produce, so plan reorders around your sell-through.
DocumentationDecide how you will present certificates of analysis to your own customers.
Traceability

Lot numbers and the COA hand-off.

The single most important detail in a white label program is traceability. Every vial carries a lot number, and the certificate of analysis for that lot carries the same number. When your customer asks for testing, you can hand over the COA that describes the exact vials they bought.

At ICARUS Biologics, every finished lot is tested by an independent US laboratory for identity and assay by HPLC, bacterial endotoxin and sterility, and you can approve the COA for your lot before it ships. Read how to read a peptide COA.

Lead Times

Production and lead times.

Most orders ship within 2 to 4 business days. Larger production runs take 1 to 2 weeks, and orders of 10,000 vials or more take 2 weeks or longer. Finished vials are manufactured at cGMP facilities in California and South Carolina and ship anywhere in the US.
